The Department is endowed with well qualified faculty members, fully equipped laboratories and a museum that have many very good specimens collected during post mortem examination depicting various kinds of gross lesions that are currently used for educating students. The Department of Veterinary Pathology aims to discharge teaching/practical training on various aspects of post mortem examinations, biopsy, histopathology, haematology, urine analysis, and diagnostic cytology to under graduate students, render disease investigation and diagnostic services to the field, college clinics to ascertain the mortality and morbidity losses and to advocate control measures, offer spot diagnosis and advisory services to the poultry farmers of the region.
